A farmer was in court trying to get disability insurance for a crook back he claimed was the result of his wagon overturning on the way to market. “Isn’t it true that immediately after the accident you told the attending police officer you’d never felt better in your life?” the big-shot lawyer asked. “Let me explain,” the farmer said. “The copper found that one of my cows couldn’t get up and said, ‘It’s f*cked’, and put a bullet between its eyes. “Then he walked over to my horse, which had a broken leg and said, “It’s f*cked”, and put a bullet in its brain. “Then he saw me trapped under the wagon and asked if I was OK. I knew he still had four shots left, so, like you said, I told him, ‘I never felt better in my life’!”
