Love...

After some recent love woes.. i found this on the net... what are your thoughts on it.

i had two rats ... that I really really loved .... then they died ... well I had to kill one of em cos he was convulsing and was on his death bed ... they were my little men ... the only things I've ever been in love with ... on a stricly platonic level :p ... then the little buggers go and get sick and die!!! and then 3 generations later ... the rest of their blood line dies and I no longer have it ... because 1. I have a shirty job and im not allowed to play with my pet rats so no point in getting more ... 2. i had a stupid friend who had the girls but got sick of em and released them into the wild ... (friggin idiot!!!) and 3. my mum wouldnt let me breed them any more .... but alas I have a heap of photos and videos and a certain micheal jackson song to remind me of them! but yes love is stupid you only get hurt in the end ! ! !! ... but ... on a person to person level ... never been in it so meh ... but I have a feeling it will be annoying

Girls do those things are purpose Matt. Than they laugh about it to their girlfriends. The good news is there's a simple solution. Rent the movie The Wedding Crasher and model yourself after Owen Wilson & Vince Vaughn.

well matt did ask me this question not too long ago.

in my opinion yes, while love hurts sometimes, when it is good it is the best feeling in the world and worth every bit of the pain and the anguish. There is really nothing like a romance and I think the ability to love and be loved is the best thing the human race has going for it.

I'm no expert I know but I do know that avoiding love and not taking the risk to avoid getting hurt will leave anyone who embarks upon this path lonely, bitter and have a heart full of regret.

I have this saying written up on the whiteboard in my room...

And love like it's never going to hurt'

But i agree RF... no need to rush into an adult relationship when you're 13. Look at what happened to your brother! Boy did he get given the runaround. (not by me... my ex best friend)

But don't be scared to love. It's the hardest thing to do to let someone in to your heart but when you meet the right person... absolutely worth the risk.
