If you back far enough on my mother's side of the family, my ancestors were on one of the first non-convict ships to arrive here.
But overall I am a mix of irish, welsh and english (and sadly I am cursed with the pale english skin).

Like Evie, if you trace my mother's side back i think 7 generations from me, they arrived from England on one of the first non-convict fleets, but looking at me, i look far from English. On my dads side, i am 1st generation Australian, my dad being Italian. I was lucky, got the olive European skin and the Aussie personality and fortunately, mum being married to an Italian for so long learnt to cook Italian. Yay for me

Well my mums (olivers) side started in Brittan, when young Oliver (13) stole a 10 pound note and a donkey from his employer, he was then sentenced to death, but rather sent to Australia. My dads side is a little of everything, but mainly being Irish... but as Sage said, im still "all Aussie bastard"

No secrets, InnForcer, I merely mentioned to LarryNJ that there appeared to be a lot of Italians on this site, and now he suggests they take over the world. Can't trust these American Ities...

And by the way, it's Hasta la vista (see you soon) and that's Spanish.
