"One of the ARU's biggest strategic objectives is to expand rugby nationally. That is why we are taking next year's Bledisloe Cup Test to Melbourne," ARU chief executive Gary Flowers said in a statement.

To a city/state that doesn't have a professional rugby franchise? What about a Bledisloe in Perth? Surely it would suit the Kiwis as it'd be a stopover on the way to South Africa.
