Anyone have any goss/news from trials and pre season?
I heard Brothers beat Dogs but the Dogs had half their side on a bucks weekend and Brothers didn't have enough to field two front rows despite their big recruitment push.
The poaching by the usual suspects has been in full swing as usual.

I wrote a detailed response to you this evening, WT, but the intertubies swallowed my work, and I can't be bothered writing another fairy story now.

It will have to suffice to say that Southern Lions have problems with numbers, their Fijian contingent are excellent players, but even they can't be expected to play 3 games, one after the other in one afternoon, and that the Fijians lost third grade, won second grade and lost premiers eight tries to two.

Palmyra have lost a few, principally Rewita to the US, Reece Anapu to Perth, and have two new faces in their premier grade at 5/8 and inside centre, but I don't know them.
