Meanwhile everyone else is reading today's pressers, and the bigger news in many respects being Sefa to Reds.

I just cannot believe the drivle that pRAvda cadets indulge in. One "article" said Sefa, that would be a Wallaby wing, was behind Hodge and Maddocks at the Rabble...that would be a centre and a 10/15. Jeebus. What about playing guys in their actual position for a change. If they got that right at least some of the problems facing Rugby in Oz would be addressed.

However, if Australia do go for a more centralised model, then this sort of thing would happen more often - the national team coaches deciding to encourage players to change sides in order to build partnerships, or sides being encouraged to rest, promote from the reserves or swap positions of players for reasons which support the national side, but not necessarily the SR sides.

Needs to apply to all the franchises equally, of course... and who'd trust the national body?

We have agreed Michael can appoint his own assistants, and be the sole selector. That should silence whispers of favouritism and parochialism. In an effort to sweep out dead wood and instil new found confidence and cameraderie in the playing group, Michael has decided to replace current forwards coach with himself, a hard nosed Randwick Galloping Green 8. We fully expect our long term plans to succeed in 2019, Melbourne Wallabies to top the Oz conference and beat Georgina in the group stage

He did not specify which Christmas.

A very thorough review process. Where have I heard words like that before?

So they have already had years and months of downhill slide from the Wallabies, plus 2 weeks since the last test against England. They have been in that boardroom for 6 hours and wont make a any decision until "Christmas 20??"

Like a refreshing dip in a swimming pool full of glue!

    What’s a spreadsheet?

Hugh Cavill laying in to the RA on Twitter and it is appearing in Foxsports’ news article.

Possibly taken from the Banking 101 hand-book; reluctantly institute a non-sanctionable review when questions which cannot be ignored or avoided are raised, and at all other times hold customers and other stakeholders in complete contempt.

This needs to be done this week. A training camp is planned for next month for persons of national interest (makes them sound they are under surveillance by the Feds) so the coaching staff need to plan for that.

To sack staff in the week leading up to Christmas would be typical behaviour that you would expect from a low rent organisation like the RA.

I think it’s all a smokescreen to divert people’s attention away from the elephant in the room - how will SANZAAR fund itself and its two rugby competitions after the end of the broadcast deal in 2020?
