Yeah we completly froze in the second half. It was a very limp performance that I hope we never repeat.

What were those three imbeciles doing at Concord (Beaumont is not one of them)?

The loss against the Vikings is not bad. The Force have played two hard matches on the road including beating Qld Country. The Vikings have dropped a home match and have to go to Fiji.

The next match is against Sydney who are out of it.

True, but a draw against Canberra could have meant the Force on top of the log right now!

I remember going to McGillivray last year for the match against Sydney, who were out of it. And I thought the same thing ... a win coming up! ... against a team placed second-last in the comp at the time.

The Black and Gold got mowed down in the last thirty minutes by the lowly Sydney Rays.

And ... Sydney are second-last again now!

You've gotta turn up to play a full 80 minutes in every game.

Sydney are last at the moment. Last year they had just finished their pre season going in to the Spirit match. The Chairman's XV is a more dangerous game. Their scrum was very strong against Qld Country and there will be niggle if the WSR game is to go by.

NSW Country have got some good players in key positions.

You are right, they are last at the moment. My bad.

However, the Spirit loss to the Rays last year was in Round 8.

That loss was a bad move for the side. It effectively left them scrambling for 4th place ... and they had to face the top side away in the semi (and got beat).

    On paper, yes.

But revenge over the Rays needs to be exacted first. It is Grand Final Weekend in Australia. If Sydney can take that HL Shield home, it will be like their grand final.
