That story would appear to have cropped up here first. Funny to see it then suddenly blow up as though it was news, rather than olds.

When Bakkies first mentioned it and I found that translated article from Buenos Aires, I did wonder if the lurkers would pick it up. I wasn't dissappointed. gerob even quoted from it

Great work Mr Forrest. Got a feeling we are going to have to do this without RA in the end.
Hodgo and Twiggy hopefully you have a plan b to either get Hong Kong,Japan or the island unions to put this forward to World Rugby.
Going by RA s past record sorry to be sceptical but I cant see them approving WSR.They want us gone/deleted from the rugby map. Trust no one at RA please

I have vague memories of a story in The West (probably Nick Taylor) on Gus being here last year and the World Rugby-IPRC link. There were pictures of him on the beach at Cottesloe I think. I think Hodgo was there too. So not really that new is it. Looks like Robinson has had her usual RA anti-RSW daily drip feed turned up.

"The appointment, which was announced in June, has enraged RA officials, who see it as a conflict of interest"

Bahaha! Clearly the RA doesn't like it so much when the shoe is on the other foot. They haven't had too many problems with the myriad of conflicts of interest on the removal of the force decision, board members, ARU / foxtel commentator conflicts, etc.

Ahem "none of those were a conflict of interest, they all happened for the good of rugby" (Cameron Clyne, senate inquiry, Lie number 462 bullshit percentage greater than 75)
