I will tell you whats Rich, Shasta.

Look at David Pocock and Michael Hooper at the end of the 2nd Bledisloe.

Pocock looks like he went 15 rounds with Mike Tyson and Hooper looks like he did a couple of laps of Eden Park on a stationary bike. And yet the experts on GAGR and Roar call them Pooper. The only time they ran together was when the jogged on to the field from dressing sheds prior to the singing of the Anthems.

I find it funny that last week on Foxsports the great coaching guru analyst And Rugby Australia Rod Kafer was reviewing a backline move that showed Hooper on the Wing. He criticised Koribete for failing to mark up in defense. Why wasnt his first question "What the fuck was Hooper doing on the Wing???"

If Hooper was doing his job at the breakdown doesnt that take some of the pressure off Pocock?

    The team from last week

    1. Scott Sio (46 Tests)
    2. Tatafu Polota-Nau (83 Tests) - great to have him back
    3. Allan Alaalatoa (24 Tests)
    4. Izack Rodda (8 Tests)
    5. Adam Coleman (24 Tests)
    6. Lukhan Tui (8 Tests) - Is a lock, not a blindside
    7. Michael Hooper (c) (83 Tests) - Should be on the bench
    8. David Pocock (70 Tests)- Is a genuine Openside and should be playing there, not just doing the job of a 7, meaning we have no 8
    9. Will Genia (91 Tests)
    10. Bernard Foley (59 Tests) - Time for a change before it is too late. KB is the man IMHO
    11. Marika Koroibete (12 Tests)
    12. Kurtley Beale (75 Tests) - should be at 10, with a genuine 12 replacing him like Toomua
    13. Reece Hodge (28 Tests) - Is not a 13, plenty of genuine 13 options
    14. Jack Maddocks (1 Test) - Is not a wing, and should not be playing there
    15. Dane Haylett-Petty (22 Tests) - Finally!
    Reserves
    16. Folau Faingaa* - at least he is getting some experience
    17. Tom Robertson (22 Tests)
    18. Sekope Kepu (95 Tests)
    19. Rob Simmons (86 Tests) - flabbergasted
    20. Pete Samu (4 Tests) - just paid a fortune to get him back and he should be starting, good enough for the Saders, good enough for me!
    21. Nick Phipps (65 Tests) - No words
    22. Matt Toomua (34 Tests) - should be starting
    23. Tom Banks* - deserves a bench spot

Until they start putting players in their specialist positions we will never make any progress. With the occasional exception of Ben Smith going to the wing, how many AB's do you see playing out of position??

This to me is why 5 SR teams is better than 4, you have at least one other genuine option to choose from.

As you probably suspected bud, I wasn't watching. In fact I was surprised myself at how far it had drifted from my (getting feeble?) old mind. Didn't know how bad it was until I watched the ABC late news - after the Mungos. Usually I'd at least channel flick it.

But anyway, on the "Pooper" thing - SNAFU.

Pooper is a terrible nickname. Like the combination both need to be put in the bin.
