Force leading 31 - 12 @ 65mins. Great game to watch. Very fast paced. H.K. have played very well, making a real game of it. It's live on Fox 503 plus Twitter.

The Twitter feed comes in very handy. Great idea. No more VPNs and can watch live from work 😉. Looked like the boys were enjoying themselves.

Was a good game, both teams got scrappy at times, but that was mainly them going for miracle plays, rather than settling for the smart option.

Played in great spirit and hk really turned up to Play. In comparison with the pi teams it was a genuine test of the teams resolve.

I was a bit confused at the play after the siren, I thought the law variation about playing the line out for a penalty after the siren wasn't being used in this comp?

At half time it wasn't, but full time, both teams took one.

Really enjoyed that game, a bit tardy the start of first half, but when HK started to settle in to some serious play it got really good. They enjoyed throwing the ball around, and crowd was really happy. Looking forward to next week & the news!

Enjoyed that and I think a HK team would fit in nicely next year!

I can definitely see the Dragons in the comp next year. After the weather of the last couple of games this was great

Exactly how? By suggesting our smallest crowd was bigger than the rebels largest?

Really loved the dragon dance at the beginning of the game. The shows at the beginning also highlight that WSR is bringing together so many people and sharing so many different cultures from throughout the whole region through rugby.

Enjoyed the game but certainly felt for HK re the penalty try! Thought it was a bit harsh as I didn’t see any warnings given. They then scored two try’s while down to 14 men that was a worry at times our defence is great but seems to also get a bit flaky at times. (Rolling mauls are bitches)

    Nine out of ten.

I take one out of ten off for the out of place interview of Nat Fyfe.

Fyfe sounded quite the professional, but what possessed the interviewer to fawn over an AFL player while a televised rugby union match was in progress?

I didn't see the incident in detail, but when it happened I thought it was the ref going for "if the penalty hadn't occurred a try would have been scored" the sipped that the maul picked up in the last 5m makes that a believable call and the yellow suggests it was foul play. My money would be on cynically pulling the maul down and stopping they try.
