Rugby Victoria QUilt program is a program not a charity. It is set up by the Rebels sponsor Legacy Property Group (also not a charity).
The ARU sold the Rebels to Cox and paid him money to run it and now the Rebels are paying their sponsors with fines from badly behaved players. Is that about it?

Gawd almighty. Also being kicked out of Bath was not just 1incident, so the Rebels must have known his rep before he joined. The more I have heard the less I have liked regarding behaviour of our boys & Wessels. It appears Wessels doesn’t have much say in what happens at the club (if it can be called that).

Don't forget that it was under Wessels that the WF players ran omok in Bloemfontein.

It seems strange that Timani cops the same fine as a repeat offender.

Yes, but wasn't that was Wessels 1st or 2nd game in charge as interim coach after Foley stepped down? He and Foote were the assistant coaches in 2016, and Wessels was asked to step into the top role for only the remainder of the season. The players never see the assistant coaches as instilling discipline, they are usually technical roles, so I wouldn't be too hard on Wessels for Bloemfontein

All I can say is that I think the Rebels, and Australian Rugby, will be better off without him. Too much in the past the focus has been on individual brilliance, rather than team culture. I feel like that is changing, just not fast enough.

Woops, I'll take that back.... it looks like Karmichael Hunt is back already.... again....

What a brutal attack. Seems wrong that they were both fined the same amount. Hopefully the legal system will take care of Mafi as well.

Early hours this morning my brother got king hit by this PONE FAAMAULISI & HUNTER PAISAMI up and coming Melbourne rebels players we are unclear at the moment of the seriousness of what he has suffered but he did lose consciousness and had to be revived at the seen... to say that we are angry at this situation is an understatement our family is shaken to the core but are extremely blessed and greatful that this wasn’t a fatal attack. PONE & HUNTER :You cowards, you hit a man from behind and left him there to bleed on the ground, your suppose to set an example as a public figure yet here you are getting yourself into trouble and doing the opposite of what is expected of a elite athletes.. one punch is all it takes to end a life. Your actions dictate the path of your life so make the right decisions and remember every actions had a consequence. To all those people out there that wanna be hero’s, ask yourself if its really worth it! #gotyoumybro #familyovereverything #onepunch @melbournerebels @rudyyak_

These recent assaults are only the ones that we are hearing about.

    Front of Jersey Sponsor

"Legacy Property and Investment Group’s mission is to support families and individuals who experience social, economic and institutional exclusions and injustices in the migration and settlement process in Australia and abroad. The company acts to engage business entities to invest in assisting young people, families and communities of Pacific Island heritage."

    What a joke.

Someone is violently assaulted and you try and turn it onto their sponsor? Did you feel the same when a quokka was kicked by force players?
