I think the next crowd for Samoan game will be a huge one. It looks like it ticks all the boxes.
    Saturday game,
early enough for young families (just),
    Against a PI team
Against an International side (and historically the best PI side)

Lets just hope for some decent weather (although where I sit I dont get rained on luckily)

There's a part of me that wants the NRC fixtures to be part of the overall WSR season at NIB; same promotion, same fanfare, and with the aim of getting the same crowds. Can one imagine what the NRC Grand Final, with season-long media build-up, would be like if the Force hosted it there?!

But only a part of me wants that. The other part, the cheap part, wants it to be free like the years previous

Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!

Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?

Why can't it be both? The east coast media never tire of reporting how many tickets Twiggy gives away to wsr fixtures, it would mean something if ra didn't give away more tickets and still pull smaller crowds

It’s ok, if the Tahs lose and end up ceding their finals berth, the Rebels will benefit and the ARU can still feel vindicated about its shrink to greatness policy.

Well Ali, that’s very true, but even though they think they’re winning, how far can you get by polishing a turd-it’s still a turd no matter what way they try to sell it & it’s got a very short use by date from all the signs. More & more rugby people have finally twigged what a shit hole the RA are (trying) running. Rank amateurs at best-no business sense, loyalty, integrity or imagination. The Royal Commission into Banking has thankfully inadvertently served to highlight the cockroaches in the RA. Regardless, WA is cutting loose from the quagmire & we are now out of it. ... if we could just get rid of their refs.......LOL!

Yes, I'm in two minds over whether to download that one, I'm guaranteed to watch a team I hate lose, but OTOH I'm also guaranteed to watch a team I hate win. It's a catch 22.fox sports sound pretty upbeat about genia and Coleman being out, so I guess they've finally shown their cards. I'm thinking rugby will be the loser and my time would be better spent finding the Samoa Germany game.

It is like having to choose England when they play the ABs. Same in Crusaders v Tahs matches. Who do you hate the least.

I don't want to see the Rabble get an assisted passage from the RA and for de Clyne to come out for the first time since Raelene's announcement with a vindicated look on his arsehole face.

I didn't realise Samoa had made it to the soccer world cup. How are they doing?

I was reading that they are in a tussle for RWC qualification. If they can't win a series playing Germany they don't make world cup next year.

Perhaps I was in some form of early morning delusion

I still wonder whether that first game was promoted in such a way that many mainstream non-rugby people believed that it was our only game this year.
I heard that there were very few free tickets given out for the Crusaders, That could explain why didn't sell-out completely. Still a good crowd though.

There were no free tickets. An email came out saying that there were no free tickets for this game about a week before the game and also about 3 weeks before that as a pre warning.

    Reds v Rebels 2018 Attendance 6 July 10,340 (Reds 37-23 Rebels)

Just over 10,000 and a nice even number, amazing!

I imagine the Reds make a big $ loss on 10,000 . The hire of Suncorp stadium and all the other expenses, must be in the region of $100K a game. That $10 per person of overheads, if they only have a 10,000 crowd. (Force used to have to pay $75K years ago for the Subi Oval, but were getting 20,000+ crowds in those days)
