Speak for yourself Ex I was sitting in the South stand and enjoyed the sets they performed. Sheikh could be on the money with a wedding/party type band playing a mixture of singalong type songs.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how good Wolfmother is as a live band. Really enjoyed it.

What about an 80's tribute band?

I thought wolfmother WAS a tribute band (LZ)

I really hope Mindaroo have organised bands for all the other games, make it part of the package

I'm 50-50 on having bands, we lost at least a couple of hundred seats for the stage.

I'd be cool with a mobile stage to be used for a pregame and half time show. Perhaps integrated with the dancers and a light show like before the game. It would make it feel like more of an event and would highlight the band better than sticking them in a corner. Obvious issues to be resolved, but the idea would be sound and it's been done before

Well if that's so I'd be happy to see them do some covers next time. It also explains why the front man sounds Robert Plant - ish.
