    Sheps makes bench

I see Sheps at least made it onto the bench at last! Does anyone know if he's actually ran on yet?

Any chance this year of rest will get him right and we can see him back here?

I've watched a couple of sale games this season and haven't seen or even heard Sheps name. Lets hope that a start is in the offing. At least Mitch knows Sheps pedigree.

He's had a least one run on but cried off a couple at the last minute because of "flu" Probably more like a big dose of Johnicus Mitchellitus

Setanta broadcast a Sale v Northampton game on Dec 1 and Sheps is starting at 15. There is also a Wasps v Sale match from Dec 24 which I can watch to see also.

I think the one on the 1st was the one shep had to pull out of.

Well he is certainly playing in it. Havent seen any player changes in the first half. Mind you they are playing in thick soup. Really hard to see the game

The Sale Sharks website says he's played 4 games (2 premiership, 2 cup games), all in November, against London Irish, Saracens, Gloucester and Northampton http://www.salesharks.com/rugby/matc...uderef=dynamic
Looks like he played 80 minutes in all except Gloucester, where he was a late substitute.

He was named in the starting line up twice but both times had to pull out at the last minute. Shame because I stayed up to watch him. The first on Dec 1st was the flu, the second was a broken toe nail which became infected and caused a large pluke on his nose. No matter how hard they tried, the physios just couldn't burst it before kick off. Sheps couldn't face that kind of TV coverage or the fact that Cipriani had a similiar pluke and the man love rumours started. According to the News of the World (British tabloid aka News of the Screws) plukes, spots and blackheads can be transmitted by reaching down for the soap in communal showers. Especially in Bath where the Romans started this trait as part of their coming of age ritual. Apparently. And I don't report this lightly as a hero of mine, a certain Damian Cronin, played for Bath. Even at 7' 4" his curly hair was a bit of a giveaway. Great No.8 though....

Knowing Shep's luck he would pick up a season ending splinter sitting on the bench

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

Former All Blacks coach John Mitchell has quit as head coach of struggling English club Sale after just one month to return to South Africa for personal reasons.

    Personal reasons?. Interesting.
At least Cam will be happy

He played a couple of weeks ago (can't remember who they were playing) and made a run described as bamboozling the defence to set up a try that helped Sale win

He's fit, let's get him back. I'm sure he would come if offered
