Though there is precious little details for something so close.

There I went back and found the link..

Yeah, the Rugby.com.au site says both matches are at McGillivray. I don't know if that's because the matches are there, or it's the only venue in WA other than NIB which Rugby.com.au know. TBH, I suspect the 2nd explanation.

You are correct with the 2nd explanation Sheikh!

The first home match is on 11 March 2018 and will be hosted by Cottesloe. The second home match is on 31 March 2018 and will be hosted by Wanneroo.

Further details will be available shortly.......

I hope you bastards follow up on the rhetoric and get down to watch the wa womens team in action this sunday.

A big crowd will send a strong message to the dickheads at aru and will be great for our girls.

He says waiting for all the feeble excuses.... I think I'm pruning the roses that day etc etc

"Didn't want to deal with the Sculptures by the Sea traffic." There's your excuse right there.

Seriously though, everyone get down there and support the girls if you can - just factor in the additional traffic.

Unfortunately I have to be in Bunbury competing. Otherwise I'd be there.

    It's started. Keep them coming.

You can do better than that Gigsy. How about " my wife's third cousin's brother in law's daughter is being christened and we have to make the cup cakes for the afternoon tea, otherwise I'd love to be there."

The crowd size should say something about how engaged and large the sea of blue is as well. The only sea of blue I'm expecting to see is what's between cott and rotto.

Why even bother responding if you aren't going to pay any attention.

Entry fees were paid before the draw was announced. You would be the first to bitch if I blew off participating in a rugby game to go and watch another sport.

WESTERN FORCE WOMEN TO FACE HONG KONG HEAD ON

The Western Force Women will tackle an exciting double header against Hong Kong in Perth and Busselton in May.

The matches will take place at nib stadium in Perth on May 13 and in Busselton on May 18.

Western Force chief executive Nick Marvin said the games would deliver attacking and entertaining games of rugby.

“We are confident the Western Force Women will be a strong competitor in the inaugural Super W tournament, which kicks off this weekend,” Marvin said.

“So confident that we have invited an international side to challenge them in Perth. We can’t wait to see the Sea of Blue out in force behind the team at both landmark fixtures!”

The Force squad features seven Wallaroos including Force captain and talented playmaker Trilleen Pomare, experienced lock Rebecca Clough and powerful backrower Vesinia Schaaf-Taufa.

The fixtures against Hong Kong highlighted the club’s commitment to building women’s’ rugby union in Western Australia, Marvin said.

Andrew Forrest AO, has previously committed to investing $2 million in grassroots rugby and elite pathways, including for female players.

“We are committed to supporting these talented athletes and growing the game for women and girls in Western Australia,” Marvin continued.

“Our Force Women are some of the best on field nationally and internationally and we can’t wait to see them run out for our club.”

Hong Kong Rugby Union chief executive Robbie McRobbie said HKRU was “delighted to have both our men’s and women’s national teams travelling to Perth as part of the Force’s exciting calendar of fixtures for 2018”.

“For our women this is an opportunity to build on their participation in last year’s Rugby World Cup in Ireland, while for our men it fits into a critical period as we endeavour to qualify for Japan 2019,” McRobbie said.

“We look forward to some tough rugby and hopefully putting on entertaining displays for the famous Force fans.”

The Womens’ Super W season kicks off at home this Sunday 11 March at 3pm at Harvey Field, (off Broome St) in Cottesloe where the Alcohol Think Again Western Force Women take on the Melbourne Rebels Women.

The game is free to attend and will feature entertainment from 2pm. Players from the Western Force men’s team will be in attendance.
