From Fiji to Force, Dakuwaqa lives dream

Nice story about the big man. Can't wait to see him get the ball Saturday night.

Western Force winger and Olympic gold medallist Masivesi Dakuwaqa has overcome almost total blindness in one eye to live his dream.
He injured his left eye in an accident with a rubber band at primary school but went on to become a member of Fiji’s 2016 triumphant Olympic sevens squad, keeping out NRL star Jarryd Hayne in the process.
After he returned home Dakuwaqa had his medal stolen.
But while upset with that, Dakuwaqa has dealt with it in the same way as his blindness — he shrugs his shoulders and gets on with life.
