    IPRC TEAM & COACH

Feeling confident the IPRC is going to be endorsed & starting to get interested in what team will be named. Curious as to who they coach will be - I guess Wessels isn't really an option (unless the Rebels go under by the end of the season). There's been mention of a really good coach.

Didnt Wessels have something in his contract at being allowed to coach in IPRC as well? (or something like that)

Considering "Perth Force" was lodged in September, I presume it was done as insurance against RA not giving the Western Force IP back.

Rugbyroos? I presume that's for some kind of junior coaching initiative rather than a WSC-style rival national side...

Yes, I think RugbyRoos is for very young kids.

I reckon they should name the side the Western Force.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Just from the quick chat with Hodgo on Sat after the meeting. He seemed quietly confident & mentioned that things had progressed well, it’s now a matter of details etc. The Board want Raelene in charge, not Clyne, and she has the power to get things done. Well we’ll find out.

There was a Rugby Rats juniors plan under the IPRC that Twiggy mentioned in the launch. Maybe it was rebranded due to IP clashes.

It is a very important part of the IPRC but hasn't been mentioned since to the RA. Alison and Hansie that needs to be mentioned to Raelene ASAP as they are basically funding junior development that is not going to cost the RA a cent.

Why should RA care? Junior development already doesn't cost them a cent!

Take a look at the books and see what each union gets in funding grants from the RA (WA has one of the lowest) than come back to me. Twiggy has a plan for the comp that would bring Rugby in to line with what the NRL and AFL are putting in to their junior game development. The likes of Pulver are banging on about Game On how many of those kids in the local primary school are signing up for their nearby club?

Sorry mate, you missed the sarcasm.

I wasn't touting that as a good thing for development of the game, I was suggesting that Rat's Arse couldn't give a pinch of dried goatshit for development of the game, they're all about short term financial gain.

Obviously if I take my sarcasm hat off for a second I'm in favour of a plan that funds rugby development.

Perth Force = IRPC teams to have a city based identity

    Western Force = NRC
