"it's really tough having to let one go" did she really say that re Western Force. That is a slap in the face. Sorry Raelene, not any where near good enough - I know, wrong thread, but here we are.

" but I can say 'we need to draw a line in the sand and say this is how we can build a relationship to move forward'."

    Easy reinstate the Force
Make the Rebels who have been gifted everything to be forced to return players to the Spirit
Make any WA player/player who started at the Force be Spirit players
    Endorse the IPRC
Give WA a share of the grass roots money, i.e. 3rd highest allotment for having the third highest registered players

Thats a start and I might draw the line there but if you think ill draw a line at the RA fucking WA and removing a team when it was another franchise bleeding the entire sport, not assisting in any way to promote and grow the game here and ensuring no Tests whatsoever are held in the year following your retarded decisions even though WA would of provided more money (and attendence) then resign now coz you have absolutely no idea.

Prove different and ill become a supporter of yours. Once again the decision is in your hands RA do you do as your constitution states or continue to alienate supporters and kill the game

Agreed apart from one thing the WA Government would have something to do with no tests in Perth this year.

Obviously the government (let alone the supporters) would of been more receptive in previous years but was it even put to tender or gifted?, 2020-2025 included. Last time we hosted Ireland at 38,200 wasnt a bad crowd and I tell you what as much as I respect the boks but them and Argies for how long now?

There are a lot more Irish in Perth these days thanks to the GFC compared to back then too.

If you watch Raelenes mouth and Slyms hand you will see the both move at the same time!
The line in the sand should be drawn all the way down the WA border!
Let’s see what Twiggy can out of her but until then she certainly doesn’t have my trust!

Her comments make me hope ASIC come down even harder on the RA board and throw the book at them.

I hope Twiggy doesn't hand over a single cent until a "Genuine" plan is put in place for WA rugby.

We are still waiting to hear of this plan and the support they promised us. Still nothing and its coming up to 6 months since the axeing.

Amazing how atleast the SARFU had a plan for their two culled teams and our incompetent governing body did nothing but eradicate their team when it was financially sustainable. That alone should be a reason to sack the whole board.

Clyne's approval ratings must be the lowest of all time for anyone in that position of power. To refuse to resign when the whole country hates you really does show the character of the scumbag.

The Chairman is supposed to be the figurehead for the board and organisation not the dictator.

I hope the ATO are shadowing the ASIC investigation as the MRRU is a taxable entity. If the MRRU provided “services” to the ARU to the value of $10million in 2013 and 2014 as per their official financial statements, why was that not shown as income and why was tax not paid on it?

Worth reporting them to the ATO.

I will, if ASIC don’t beat me to it. Normally, when ASIC investigates anything, the ATO is not far behind them.

They could maybe schedule a test without extorting millions of dollars from the state government?

That's close to what's happening in Melbourne.

You would be relying on Irish expats and tour groups to fill the stands. People only went to the test last year due to having purchased tickets. The RA also treated a group of children who they had already let down by treating them poorly and ruining their night. Those parents and the kids won't be back at the RA tests for some time.

I totally get that, and I certainly wouldn't buy a ticket, but at least that would make some steps towards fulfilling the promise to "provide rugby content" to WA fans, at the moment, all they're dong is expecting them to buy Foxtel packages and fly across the Nullarbor.

Well if they were expecting people to buy foxtel packages then it has had the opposite effect.

If they are negotiating the TV rights this year for after 2020 then surely foxtel will snub the ARU given the amount of cancellations. How can they even negotiate this when they dont even know the format after 2020. You would be mad if you were bidding for the broadcast rights to a comp that doesnt even know its format in a few years time.
