FiFA in further damage control over Qatari World cup bid shenanigans

So the ARU/rebels dodginess is childs play compared to the stuff they are digging up over this Dodgy Qatari 2022 world cup. Bribes worth 10s of millions been given to South American delegates for votes.. no wonder the Aussie bribes had no impact 🤣

I would prefer a dodgy world cup vote , cough* France 2023/ Qatar 2022 over losing my rugby team. To me the tragedy's arent even comparable.

We lose our rugby team forever, and Australia and Japan miss out on hosting the 2022 soccer world cup. Just doesn't feel the same!sorry!

Oh no doubt ours is the bigger tragedy but in terms of shady dealings i think Clyne & co are amateurs compared to this lot

    Well, it is soccer!

But I wonder whether Qatar will be relaxing it's drinking laws for the World Cup; Budweiser are usually a sponsor

Potentially will be relaxed in the stadiums but everywhere outside of the stadium will be the dribbling shits.

The shisha will be going good though.

Boring yes. And the result of incredible corruption. But there's lots more compelling reasons why nobody should go. Construction workers and others in virtual slavery and a body count among them as high as 1200. Scum.

And that was three years ago, before they had to start fast tracking

Hear hear! It’s an awful awful indictment on FIFA, not to mention Qatar.

This model has probably already been incorporated into the big spreadsheet that the Rat’s Arse is using as the basis for its negotiating position for “Super” Rugby post-2020.
