WA women's sevens pathways to national selection cut off too?

One thing that slipped under the radar with the whole Western Force thing is that, with the replacement of the women's National Sevens Championship with the Aon Uni 7s series, WA has been cut out of the women’s sevens pathways too. Shanice Parker made the Australian squad through the WA team (admittedly the juniors) but now has to play for University of Tasmania.

Why does this not surprise me?

England Rugby is putting a £10million plan in place to attract around 100,000 women and girls into rugby.

Rat’s Arse would prefer to put $millions into propping up their mates who have zero real interest in rugby.
