Sounds interesting. Mark S. is involved with the setting it up as well isn't he?

If I were running as successful an organisation as Andrew Forrest's, I would definitely find an appropriate job for someone who has performed with the distinction Mark Sinderberry. Even if I wasn't entering into a sporting venture. He is one ARU employee who has come out of this mess with his reputation and integrity intact. Actually very much enhanced would be a better description.

Mark is no longer an ARU employee, it's reported in todays West that the ARU sacked him yesterday along with 4 other staff members, another sad day for rugby in WA.

It is so sad and the irony is if we had survived this dark year for rugby we probably would have had a lot more members and been the strongest financially of all the teams in oz. seriously sad day I wish those staff all the best...

Jules, the realisation of a strong and financial Western Force was the reason Tahs and Reds got rid of us

Not to defend the ARU, but it was expected by the employees. They were informed after the initial arbitration decision that they would be made redundant. The appeal just delayed the date.

    To a certain extent,

Remember, he was touted as a potential successor to Willy Puller at one stage.

I'm holding out for Dave to announce he's staying to setup the new team.
