Insurance, WA rugby registration/ competition management and finally club fees. )))))))))

Hansie This has really nothing to do with me as I don't play or have children who do and I might be a little cynical here but ,,,, Why does the money have to come back.. Can't Rugby WA collect it all and forward the funds.. I just don't trust that mob over east...
Australian Rugby has a central computer based registration system - RugbyLink - Every player registers and movements from club to club and even State to State can be covered. One reason is to make sure a sanction for a Red Card offence cannot be avoided by the guilty player heading elsewhere to play. Another reason why money heads East and then back is that the ARU has negotiated a Country wide Insurance Policy. The ARU also uses the numbers on Rugby link to see where growth is and isn't. These guys in the ARU in High performance and general Admin are not the baddies.

I object to a single dollar of my rego fees for next year going to the ARU.

RUPA's reply to their questions on notice is now up. RUPA have confirmed they received a copy of the 'Alliance Agreement' on June 15 2016 from Richard Hawkins

I believe, if you listen to Clyne's testimony carefully, he mentions that they are now able to look at the extensive fabricated evidence which justifies retaining the millstone over the productive, standards-driven business with a guarantor.

I would assume, yes the Inquiry have it and it's bound by Commercial confidence. therefore redacted beyond useability.

Notwithstanding the effort and engagement between the Parties, to which the dates above are

de-stabilising influence on the negotiations; and the CBA still had some time until 31 December
    2017 to run.

It will be interesting to compare the WA numbers of league and union this year and next year to see the impact and change in the numbers.

There has been no mention of the CBA being negotiated and time is running out.

OK, I've been chewing on this for a while, please excuse the late reply.

The ARU have never looked that far into the Future. Their statements about the move to cut a team being future focused is only the smokescreen they have used to justify choosing to cut the team that was starting to force players into the selection frame. the only future they have taken into account is next year.

Pick up some better signings for the Tahs, pick up a financial bonus from SANZAaR for cutting a team, make an attempt to stop the bleeding in Melbourne and shut up the loud voices around the boardroom table (remember Clyne is a Victorian Rugby Representative) and keep the various NSW interest groups at bay with the promise of 6 million bucks a year to "piss up a wall"

Beyond 2018, no projections have been done, no desire to run any projections has been evident, they want to take the cash and run.

Their strategic plan probably doesn't include scenarios such as Super Rugby's imminent death.

Nor did their plan factor in a Senate Inquiry and a State that won't go away, roll over or lay down!!!
