We listened again to the minutes today, and what the ARU have done sounds even worse when it's condensed into that short summary. The stunts the ARU have pulled over the years is more than diabolical. I could almost hear the senators shaking their heads at some of the facts and events that have gone on. And yes I think Linda should probably resist saying 'we', as now someone pointed out it does become noticeable. But she did a bloody good job against Pulver being a rude arrogant prick. I hope they reread him his rights in the 'in-camera' session! What a tosser! Tony & Mark come across as professional & simply stating the facts as opposed to Pulver chucking a tant.

Heard from a very good source that Victorian State Government sponsorship 'deal' with the VRU is only a Letter of Intent (LOI), not a signed contract. Its also very conditional on the ARU giving Victoria certain Bledisloe games and priority with venue selection for the next visit from the British and Irish Lions tour in 2025.
So a great question to Pulver or Clyne would be, 'Was the Victorian sponsorship deal, that is commercial in confidence, a fully executed contract or a LOI when the decision to cull the Force was made?'

The Parasite (de Clyne) has already had Alan Jones screaming down the radio that a heads of agreement isn't a binding contract

Worry not - it's in the submission! I noticed too that in the 'reasons for cutting a SR team' document the ARU put out on 7 September, they carefully used the word "assumed" in relation to that Vic Govt financing. Lawyer's advice maybe?!

The Hansard notes are about to be released. Forty six pages of obfuscation by Pulver - who can't release confidential agreements to the Senate but can share the Alliance Agreement with Tim North and the VRU. Forty six pages of $13 m poured down the Melbourne Rebels money pit but the Force were the team to be axed. Forty six pages of Alan Winney's offer to buy the Rebels in 2014 and cauterise the money flow to the rebels. Forty six pages of a $1 sale of the rebels to Cox and from Cox back to the VRU. Forty six pages of Pulver questioning the Senator as to the purpose of her questions. And it just got started.

Actually only one sentence about Alan winney, and that wasn't even spoken by Pulver.

Was 20 pages of the 46 all about puller saying I can't comment due to commercial confidence?

Forty-six pages of supreme arrogance, rudeness and total disrespect of Parliament by Pulver too.

Pretty much, yes. Although maybe 5 pages of him questioning the Senators about why he was there, what the point of their questions was and how the questions related to the terms of reference.
