In all seriousness, I just cannot fathom how inept and stupid these guys are...let alone the dishonesty and complete lack of integrity.

No wonder Australian Rugby is fucked.

Judging by the aerial videos I reckon the 14,200 number might be somewhat optimistic.

As optimistic as the ARU's projection that the Rebels will be self sustaining into the future?

As optimistic as the attendances at Rebels games this season? Reported attendances of 10,000 when people at the game reckoned that 3,000 would be more accurate.

I guess it depends on how they measure it - by revolutions of the turnstile or by the number of tickets printed

The Rebels thought that an appropriate response to the declining attendance numbers at AAMI Park in 2017 was to stop reporting the number of attendees.

So the ARU may think that it was appropriate to inflate the attendance numbers at GIO Stadium (Bruce Stadium, Canberra) by a few thousand. You know the sort of thing - "the computers at the gates must have stuffed up again, so we should bung a few extra thousand on to the reported number of attendees".

As I said during the Fiji test, you could here INDIVIDUAL comments (abuse) from the "crowd". Anecdotal evidence indicates less than 10k for this phenomenon

And it appears that the saffer test at nib was the ONLY game that heavily discounted tickets were not offered. Wankers

Sent Senator Linda Reynolds a Thank you email.. I got a reply

Hi Tony, I greatly appreciate your feedback. It was certainly an interesting session, more new questions than answers arising. I will not stop until all is revealed.
    Kind regards, Linda

Got a similar response, Tonkar, although slightly different. Makes me think that she (or her PA) is writing each one separately rather than cut and pasting a reply.
