Apparently he has extensive senior executive experience in U.K., North America, Europe and Australia along with playing some pro Rugby in England and Australia. Pretty impressive CV for someone who is only 32/33 and only has a Bachelor of Business in his back pocket.

ABN checker says they have a holding company called Sporting Management Concepts Pty Ltd with other entities

Senator Reynolds has her answer staring her straight in the face.

Oh it's all coming back to me - one of the initiatives that Dylan gray did in his role at mrru was to hire scantily clad tgi fridays girls to hand out cocktail vouchers to minors at the 2015 schools rugby grand final - the principal of the host school almost had a heart attack before sending them away

... the Rebels had been assured that they were safe in this process.
As far as I'm aware, nothing of the sort was communicated to The Rebels. I completely reject any implied allegation that I was involved in giving any such assurance to Andrew Cox of the Imperium Group. Indeed, given the sensitivity of the situation, I specifically chose not to have any communication with Andrew Cox from the Imperium Group from March 2017 onwards and left the communication with Andrew Cox to Bill Pulver and ARU legal counsel, Richard Hawkins.

Point 5: Mark Sinderberry makes a totally baseless allegation on page 33, which outside of the cocoon of the Senate inquiry would be utterly to the defamatory:

... chief operating officer, who, on the surface, was trying to be supportive. Obviously I've learned since that he was actually supporting the Rebels' cause and was ultimately re-engaged recently with the Rebels organisation.
I totally deny these accusations levelled by Mr Sinderberry and take umbrage with the malicious innuendo arising from them. I note the following matters. I was accountable to the ARU's CEO for the day-to-day performance of the Western Force as part of my COO position description and employment agreement. I took this responsibility seriously and executed oversight of the Western Force in a professional manner at all times. I was but one of numerous contributors to, and not certainly the sole architect of, the scorecard formulation, analysis and assessment as to which team should be removed, despite representations from Mr Howarth and Mr Sinderberry, who have tried to attribute to me far more credit and influence than I deserve. As a result of a very comprehensive review which had direct input from the majority of ARU's management team and input from an external international consulting firm, I supported the ARU's management recommendation to the ARU board. It was the ARU board of directors who would ultimately decide on which team was to be removed from the Super Rugby competition.

I resigned as chief operating officer in writing to Bill Pulver on Tuesday, 18 April 2017, and left the ARU on Friday, 16 June 2017. After my resignation on 18 April, I was no longer involved in all the ongoing discussions regarding the removal of an Australian Super Rugby team. Given the sensitivity of the situation, the threatened legal action by the Rebels and the actual legal action from the Western Force, I specifically refrained from having any direct contact with Tim North and Victorian Rugby Union, or Andrew Cox of the Imperium Group on any matter while I was serving out my notice period. Furthermore, any dialogue I had with Mr Sinderberry at the Western Force was on day-to-day operational issues only.

Since leaving the ARU in mid-June 2017, I've received several approaches from various organisations about providing consultancy services to them. Indeed, from about mid-July, I was engaged in consulting a leading Sydney GPS school to conduct a comprehensive review of their rugby program. It was not until nearly three months after I had left the ARU—and subsequent to Victorian Rugby Union securing the ownership of the Rebels from the Imperium Group and after the ARU terminated the Western Force license—that I was first approached by Bob Dalziel, who was the founding investor in the rebels in 2011, to ask whether I had any interest in providing consultancy services to the Rebels organisation. Given that I was, by then, a totally free agent, and had been for over three months, I agreed around early September to begin providing ad hoc consulting services to the Rebels, with a primary focus on mentoring and being a sounding board for the recently appointed Rebels CEO, Baden Stephenson. Furthermore, about a fortnight ago—that is, late September—I was approached by another Super Rugby club in Australia, exploring my interest in becoming involved with it in the near future.
Just reading over the horseshít that came out of Rob Clarke's mouth at the Inquiry. How can anyone believe that he didn't have any communication with Cox between March and June this year. He goes on to state after that he was a free agent. Not all people who leave organisations especially where there are so called confidential documents involved in the same industry have freedom of movement. Particularly when there have been legal issues surrounding a closure.

Sen. Reynolds before she even started said she had a lot of questions for Clarke that she will get to him separately. So far we have only seen one question answered on notice on the Inquiry website.

No, the real master piece was the synchronised answers from Clarke and North re who brought the Alliance Agreement to the meeting:
Clarke:"I totally reject this. It is my usual practice to use my iPad wherever possible in meetings. I very rarely carry documents, and I certainly do not recall carrying any documents into the meeting with Tim North and Neil Hay on 12 April. However, I do recall that a pile of documents that was on the table was being discussed in some detail, but I was not responsible for bringing them into the meeting."

North:" I can't recall. In the room, as I said to you before, there were three people. Knowing Mr Clarke, he usually attends without papers. I recall Mr Hawkins having a file with him. I'm not sure I can recall—it is a little difficult to do so—but the documents that were placed on the table, "

I would love to see the Ipad seized by the Feds. Just curious to know who owns the Ipad. The ARU or Clarke personally?

I also see today that the ARU is talking about spending more money. This time on bidding for the next Womens RWC.

This is the ARU we are talking about and it is nowhere near as hefty as their mates in the press are implying. The advancements to the Rebels and Reds along with the contract payouts to Force staff and players have to be covered. Then you go on to the costs of relocation and re-branding.

With the Womens RWC they are talking about using universities to host games. Aside from Bond which is private most of the universities they will be looking at are funded by the taxpayer.

Fantastic to see such good alignment between the VRU and the EARU - Oops apologies - Vic RUgby and RUgby AU.
So moving forward is all about the $$s and the high performance aspects of RUgby.

Melbourne Rebels - the wooden spooners of Super Rugby in 2017.
Melbourne Rising the wooden spooners of the NRC in 2017.
Rebels get 5 players + Dev Player in the 30 man squad for the Spring Tour.
Rebels get gifted Genia by the EARU as he has to be fitted in somewhere - may as well be the Rebels (at what cost to RUgby in AUstralia?).
AAMI Park will continue to be a dark blue hole into which RUgby AU will pour $$s to the detriment of the growth of Rugby in Australia.

The Western Force came 2nd in the Aussie conference in 2017 (12th out of 18).
Perth Spirit make the finals in the NRC 2017 (having won last year).
Western Force get 7 players in the 30 man squad for the Spring Tour.
(Many of these 7 players likely to end up at the Rebels)
The Western Force get shafted and are no more.

The Western Force (a rose by any other name) will represent Australia in the IPRC.
The IPRC will be developed at no cost to RUgby AU and can only benefit the growth of Rugby in WA and in the Indian-Pacific region.
The IPRC appears to have the tacit approval of the IRB (we'll know more after 14 November 2017)
The IPRC awaits RUgby AU to give its "approval" by 2 November 2017.

The definition of IRONY - a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often wryly amusing as a result.

Saw that. A few Rebels fans with their heads in the sand have got nearly at the truth being spelt out for them on their dedicated 2018 thread.
