Andrew Forrest hits back at Australian Rugby Union claims about Western Force axeing

Force billionaire backer Andrew Forrest says he has evidence dismissing Australian Rugby Union claims that it wanted to axe the Western Force because of financial concerns, playing performance and support.
It is understood the mining magnate has correspondence that shows the decision was made because it was thought the Force would be the easiest club to remove legally ahead of the Rebels and the Brumbies.
Since the ARU announced it wanted to cut the Force the costly legal battle has gone to arbitration - which the club lost - but the decision was appealed in the NSW Supreme Court.
A decision is expected later this week or early next week.
Forrest will hold a media conference tomorrow in response to ARU claims that he stepped in too late to save the Force when he made a $50 million offer to the governing body if the future of the club could be guaranteed.
He also guaranteed to underwrite the financial viability of the Force.

Payten and Nick Taylor? Have they worked together before? Payten and an ARU leak? Seen that somewhere before. Is someone white anting the Chair? Or is a staffer who has resigned been settling scores?........Clunk! The sound of the first wheel falling off?

Maybe it has something to do with The West buying the Sunday Times but I'd say Taylor wrote the Twiggy bit and Payten the rest from Sydney

Yeah of course he has our back. The same muppet who a year ago said that the Force would stay and fully supported a national footprint. We take what you say with a grain of salt.

    Twiggy on channel 9 now.

Announcement at 7:30 this morning to reveal letter/s sent to Cameron Clyne in February revealing that the Force were cut because it was easiest, there was no criteria to select a side etc etc.

Calling on a Cameron Clyne to resign.

This should flush the bastards out now, Clyne will roll over. He's not prepared to take the bullet on his own and he'll take them all with him!
