I think both legal teams have had enough time to get their arguments prepared so it makes sense to go straight into the appeal hearing. No point dragging it out for another 2 weeks.

I've been told by a Sydney legal that Justice Hammerschlag is "smart as a whip. Very fair". Liking him so far.
ARU now defining their own terms & the alliance agreement & clauses.

ARU has just started. So far they've both been discussing the definitions. When I hear more from the ARU I'll let you know.

Negotiation a consensual agreement from the parties. Termination at the others will. Judge is trying to figure out the meanings & how the arbitrator got to their decision, which were vaguely defined and didn't have the evidence of how the conclusions were reached.
