    2. The ARU is pretty close to flat broke.

    3. Andrew Forrest has guaranteed the Force won't be a burden on ARU coffers. But his up to $50 million offer is targeted at Rugby grassroots development (just guessing that but Pulver seems to confirm it). Basically "I'll bail out WA but you're not getting a cent for The Tahs.

    4. The ARU are bullshitting everybody from Papworth and his Shite Shield buddies, to every grass roots club in the country. They are practically dead broke, but need to bail out the heartlands and they are going to use the 6 mill a year to do it. They are also going to spend projected income brought forwarded from the Vic's as well - spending tomorrows income today. There will be SFA left for "grassroots"
It does seem obvious now that they are clutching at straws, they still haven’t come out and identified how much extra funding will go to grassroots apart from the fact that the money lost on SR teams could have gone to grassroots. But as you say they have no money, I’m sure if Forrest offered to pay them the money as working capital the response would have been a lot different.

    Totally agree with you Shasta.

Nothing even resembling the truth has come out yet.

Gee I hope Senator Reynolds can get enough support for the inquiry!!

I want to know from Pulver and Clyne what's going to happen to the 5-year strategic plan they launched with great fanfare in 2016.

It wasn't worth the cost of producing it even back then; now it's not even worth the paper it's written on.

Yep. That needs to happen even if the appeal is a win for the good guys.

While we're on the topic, I wouldn't mind a copy of the RugbyWA senior rugby one...
