Telecrap claiming Rona will be selected on the wing if DH-P is ruled out. Like to see him get a shot but still won't watch.

Rona selected on wing for international debut . Played the entire (debut) season at outside centre

    That works

edit: Ahhhhhhh just realised why. Selecting Foley and Beale leaves a gaping defensive hole in the middle of the park that needs plugging with the wing ala link with Quade. Great. So Rona taking on Hornes role. Never any thought given to selecting two big fast wings playing wide, centres that don't die with the ball, and a 10 that can defend and run the attack to get the forwards dragging them in and then spread it wide

more news on my free ticket.

Tickets came direct from the ARU to the Vice-President of my Club Rugby side and they are for non-catered Corporate Box.

Nice to know that I am costing ARU even more money.

Yeah, I'm so disillusioned with rugby at the moment, absolutely gob-smacked with what the ARU have done. I wont be watching it and don't really give a shit who wins.

Is Laurie "let's pick half the team out of position" Daley in charge of the Wallabies?

Lets see, $10 @ $0.50 for the win. You could live it up with an ice cream with the winnings.

Westie will I'm sure be wagering a much higher amount.

Is it possible for somebody to edit together a highlights package featuring every touch by Curtis Adam and Taf?

I assume they'll be the only worthwhile touches in the game anyway!

Provided the ball actually makes it to Curtis on the wing. Whats the passing game of the bloke in 13 like? You know, that bloke called Michael Hooper.

Michael Cheika hands Curtis Rona baptism of fire against All Blacks

    August 17, 2017 11:25am|
    by Iain Payten

WESTERN Force code-hopper Curtis Rona will make his Wallabies debut in the furnace of a Bledisloe Cup at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

Rona was named as a starting winger in the Wallabies team by Michael Cheika on Thursday after Dane Haylett-Petty was ruled out with a

Though Rona played all season as a centre for the Force, the 25-year-old has trained exclusively as a winger with the Wallabies; the same position in which he proved to be a try-scoring freak in the NRL for the Bulldogs and Cowboys.

In other major selections, Stephen Moore will start at hooker ahead of Tatafu Polota-Nau despite recently stepping down as captain and announcing he would retire from Test rugby at the end of the year.

Moore’s set-piece accuracy was no doubt a factor in his selection.

Having missed the June series with injury, Sean McMahon has won the no. 8 jersey ahead of Lopeti Timani.

Outside centre Samu Kerevi also returns to the starting side after missing the June series with injury.

He will form a all-new centre pairing with Kurtley Beale, who was named to play in his first Wallabies Test since the World Cup final in 2015.

The Wallabies have one of their more experienced benches in recent years, as well, with four of the eight having played over 50 Tests and a fifth — Tevita Kuridrani — sitting on 47 Tests.
