Has the ARU approved the VRU takeover?

    http://www.rugby.com.au/news/2017/08...signs-for-2018

With the ARU needing to ratify player contracts, does this announcement signal that the ARU has already approved the license transfer and has no intention of challenging the VRU takeover? Or are the Rebels jumping the gun? Or was this contract ratified previously and was kept under suppression?

I assume it's a sign that the ARU do not intend to challenge the transfer of the Rebels license to the VRU.
