Good, if he rules in our favour it's because he's a reasonable and knowledgeable rugby follower if not we can appeal based upon his obvious conflict of interest

Another aspect of this bloody alliance agreement that bugs me- if the ARU claim it was a 'new' agreement, then doesn't the original contract need to be formally cancelled and also signed off by BOTH parties before replacing it with a new one. Essentially, how many 'changes/adjustments can be made to a contract before it's called 'new'?

I guess that's an arbitrary decision.

" arbitrary - Legal Definition. adj. Determined or founded on individual discretion, especially when based on one's opinion, judgment, or prejudice, rather than on fixed rules, procedures, or law." HTH.

Also SARU considers it an continued (just modified) agreement while ARU believe it is a new agreement

I am consoling myself that the ARU might be right. After Bledisloe One's record points concession and poorest ever crowd at ANZ stadium, sacking the Force is so obviously the solution.

    Eyes up ARU.
