Wonder if twiggy could put enough of his own cash into the Force to pay all players and staff until next window of recruitment opens up in 2018?

In the mean time, if we win - we have business as usual without skipping a beat.

If we lose, players keep being developed, staff have time to move on, and eastern states clubs do not get to reap the benefits of our labours,at least not till 2019 ... I'm sure we could find plenty of overseas teams that would be willing to give us some friendly matches...

A big ask but not unrealistic.. I am sure many teams would come to perth and play..... Lots of Minnow national teams like Romania , Georgia, USA, pacific nations all to get warm ups for would cup..I would be up to coming to 8 to 10 games for that.. IR might chip in a few pennies.. State gov do a deal on the park.. all winners

I have been looking closely at our posts so far and we have not brought up anything about Governance and constitution I may be wrong. It might be irrelevant but I had a quick read through the Governance review Mark Arbib organised with an independent board. This was done in 2012 and some of the findings and recommendations are what should be in place. Key recommendations such as transparency to stakeholders, equal voting rights, independant directors not aligned to any faction. I only scratched the surface but a legal team would have a field day on this.

And to another issue. Mclean, Eales - REDS, Robinson - Brumbies, Clyne / Puller - Tards, but were do the "eye candy" ( sorry to the feminists) sit in all this. My apologies up front to the ladies of the force but if you want equal pay and equal rights you better expect to cop the same amount of shit for failing to deliver. The female vote from what I can gather was all about women in sport, one has a honorary law doctorate, one was a cruise (yes cruise) director and the other had some banking smarts and liked rugby. FFS ! I ask the question why hasn't the Minister for Sport jumped on this debacle. They have the power to dismiss the board and start afresh. We should get on their case as the importance of Rugby from the Wallabies to Super Rugby to Community Rugby to Australia and along with junior path ways and players was very prominent throughout the governance document.

You mention who on the board has past allegiance to which club/state.

Don't know the number nowadays but not so long back half the front bench had played for Sydney Uni including the bloke up the front at the moment. And the one before him played and coached Uni. Just sayin'.

Wasn't that review about receiving federal funding as well? If you do t have a national foot print with voting writes across the country then you don't get funding. Can't remember but it is ringing a bell for some reason. Maybe some one else can remember.
