There has only been something like 14 indigenous wallabies since 1788 (thanks for the year Andrew). Shows that historically it's a pretty piss poor representation. More needs to be done to get indigenous kids playing rugby professionally

Cant really add anymore to the thread than that.
Like i said initially. Anything that respectfully highlights our indigenous heritage for an international audience is absolutely OK by me.

Personally I wouldn't lose any sleep if it was made permanent and then possibly changed to drawings from a different geographical location annually. But that's just me; probably a bit too progressive for the ARU.

I think it livens up the jersey, without taking away from it still being a gold wallaby jersey - on some of the forwards there is a lot of gold(yellow if you read the roar) and it's nice to see it changed up

I was thinking currently active at the pro level (I assume Hodgo would still be available for the Wallabies if called up). I'm not counting Walker playing at the Brisbane Tens this year!

I'm embarrassed at not remembering all those Mungos. Especially the one I mentioned earlier.

Speaking of Mungos; I know Wikipedia is not a reliable resource. And I know he's low profile and all, but how could they omit GIGSY's favourite Mungo - Wendell.

Jim Williams was a number 8 - I think he scored a try for the Australia A vs British and Irish Lions At Gosford. But I had a few by then.

I remember him playing on the wing in a Shute Shield grand final in the 90s! The traditional migration forward with age.

Speaking of merchandise, here's a rather strange Western Force training shirt I have purchased off eBay to be an obscure part of my collection. It is not listed as being part of any of the official training or supporters range, so I can only assume it was a rejected prototype, and I can't blame them for rejecting it, in the design sense.
Hopefully we'll be staying in competition, otherwise I'm calling it my "Force going down in flames" shirt...
