That was great to watch.
Sitting here on a drizzly English summer morning, watching my team get a very important win, and doing it with class and passion.
That is why I still have such a strong connection to this club despite moving to the other side of the world. It's why I get up early to watch the NZ away matches, or try and listen to them on rugby radio at 10am at work (hard to keep quiet sometimes). It's why watching Hodgo just now kick that goal and give his post match presser while choking up brought a tear to my eye.

My local club here is the Saracens, who have a pretty impressive recent history as far as wins go, but they just don't do it for me like the Force and the sea of blue, and never will.

Fitting end to a legendary career, a game easily won with grit, Passion and an inability to take a backward step. Particularly nice to have shown up the "cream of Aussie rugby" so convincingly as well.

Hodgo taking the last kick was special, can't comment on what he said after the game, I couldn't hear a word because it was drowned out by at least 12,000 faithful supporters.

oh that was so very sweet, in soo many ways.

We smashed a bunch of arrogant "entitled" over-paid mugs that take their privileged status for granted, sent Hdgo out in style, finished the season in style, finished second on the Aus conference, equalled the Brumbies number of wins and stuck one up the ARU big time. So great to be there and thanks for such a huge effort boys, showed what we are capable of.
