Force vs Rebels, did you ever feel we would lose?

So last night, at about the 15-20 minute mark, I started to feel confident we were going to win.

Just stop and think about that for a moment. I'm a Force fan. I'm use to us loosing a grip on the horses mane at about the 60 minute mark. Though here was I, pre-quarter game, feeling confident. A feeling that strengthen as the game traveled it's course.

The score line may not really have reflected it but it just felt like The Force were comfortably ahead in all the major stats and that did not look like slipping.

Who else sensed this strange feeling last night?

Hadn't thought about it like that. But you are spot on. On watching the replay Gregan & Co seemed on the same wavelength even just before and after half time when the Rabble had the lead. Hope it's not a one-off.

I felt uneasy with how easy it seemed for the Rebels to score tries. I didn't feel comfortable until the 76th minute.

We lack the quality of backs to turn those great stats into points. Hopefully that will come.

I also felt the same way through the game. It was probably when I thought how little percentage of the game that the Rebels got into our 22. They all played the most cohesive I've seen, but still seemed a bit rusty possibly because of the break. They will really need to knuckle down on giving away those penalties next week.

Two of the rebel tries were scored due to The Force playing an expansive game and Koribety having 2m high wheels. If you are going to attack that way you'll expect a few of those if the opposition had that much speed outside. I'm ok with that.
Part of what gave me confidence was the quality of defence when we did not have to deal with the odd broken play situation. I thought it looked good.
