Rugby Player collapses and dies on field.

Please spare a thought today for the Warrangah Rats Rugby Club who play in the Shute Shield competition in Sydney. One of their 5th grade players passed away yesterday whilst playing.

Rugby player dies after collapsing during game at Warringah Rugby Club's field near Narrabeen

A 25-year-old man has died after collapsing during a rugby match on Sydney's northern beaches.

The man, understood to have been playing for Warringah Rugby Club, collapsed about 1:45pm on Saturday at a field near Narrabeen, police say.

Emergency services performed CPR on the man but he died at the scene, police said, with a report now being prepared for the coroner.

The Warringah Rats Official Supporters Page posted to Facebook advising any remaining games at Rat Park on Saturday had been cancelled.

Randwick Rugby and Norths Rugby clubs were among those to send their condolences to the family of the deceased player and the Warringah Rugby Club on social media. More here

Isn't the human body an amazing yet confusing thing?
On one side, we punish and push it to extraordinary lengths and we think nothing of it but this bloke was doing something he's done all season, looked pretty healthy enough from the photo I saw of him but drops dead..so sad..what do you say?

    This.^

From what I've heard it wasn't from a bad or dangerous tackle, he just collapsed and couldn't be revived.
