You don't see this positional combination very often these days

    11.Natasha Haines, Western Australia, backrow/centre, 7 Tests

Particularly when she's lining up on the wing!

    Well done to all selected.

Where are all the players from the rugby heartlands of ACT and Victoria? Even our SA baabaas have a representative (even though she's a ring in and played LFL in the US)

    Not unheard of though.

Radike Samo. Played Lock, 6, 8 and wing.

Onehunga Havili has played wing, backrow and lock so not that unheard of Gigs.

Congratulations to our WA girls who continue to do us proud. Outstanding stuff.

Neither of your examples mention playing in the centres.

I know it's not impossible, I've just never seen it at the elite level.

And yes, I have seen Samo and Havili are bracketed as wingers.

An example of a backrow/centre is your favourite backline player Michael Hooper.

I'm afraid I have to disagree ... Blooper remains in the backrow/ winger(seagull) bracket.

However ... A great advert for rugby development in the state and something Josephine Sukkar should be happy with.
