So Mr Pulver will not be making an appearance

Australian Rugby Union chief executive Bill Pulver has refused to dismiss reports that he is still negotiating to buy back the Melbourne Rebels’ Super Rugby licence.
Rebels owner Andrew Cox has said the club was not for sale despite claims he would accept a multi-million dollar buy-out as the ARU tries to cut them or Western Force from next year’s Super Rugby competition.
“I can’t comment on that,” Pulver said yesterday during his first visit to Perth since the ARU said it was looking to axe a club two months ago.
Pulver will not be at today’s Supreme Court hearing when the ARU pushes to take its legal battle with the Force behind closed doors and into an arbitration hearing in Sydney.
