The statement by Dickie on re-signing is straight out of the book "How to be the Best Clubman ever by Hodgo"
If this is the way Dickie is going to emulate Hodgo then it is a bloody great start.

Does that now mean all 3 of our young Wallabies are signed for 2018? What about TPN? Make it 4 out of 4.

It mught hurt his Wallabies chances irreparably for him to attempt to honour Hodgo's legacy by playing the same game, but it'll make him a far better man!

RICHIE ARNOLD INKS TWO YEAR DEAL

The Road Safety Western Force confirm the re-signing of lock Richard Arnold for the next two seasons.

Arnold has already played seven matches this year in his debut season and showed glimpses of what is in store for years to come. The twin brother of Wallaby Rory Arnold, Richie is ferocious in defence and reliable at set piece.

The former Queensland Country representative says the Road Safety Western Force is where he wants to play his rugby and further develop his game.

“I’m really enjoying my time at the Force and feel like we’re building something special here. There’s a good understanding among the group of what we want to achieve and an excellent work ethic. We all want to play for each other.”

In what was a long journey to Super Rugby for Arnold, he attributes reaching his goal to a dedicated athletic performance team and the constant drive from his teammates.

“I’ve had some frustrating injury setbacks over the past 18 months, but am very grateful to everyone at the Force who has supported me and gotten me to the point where the body is feeling good and I have a lot more confidence in my ability.”

Road Safety Western Force Forwards Coach Joe Barakat says the signing of Arnold is another positive move for club and Richie has plenty to offer on the field.

“Richie’s size and athleticism make him unique,” he said. “He’s shown that he can bring real intensity and physicality to his performances, which at 208cm and 120kg’s can make a big impact on a game.

“He’s worked incredibly hard over the last 18 months and has shown a desire to want to be successful. We’re delighted to have him with us for the next few years.”

Arnold is set to line up against the Melbourne Rebels in Round 16, in what is sure to be a cracking ‘Aussie’ derby.

Interesting comments by Coleman on Rugby.com.au about sticking with Australia even if the Force go. Mentions the Waratahs and Rebels are after him (which we know), but not clear if he wants to stay at the Force or not.

So you're thinking nobody would miss out if hodge becomes available? How about naivalu? I can't really put my finger on anyone else to actually name, but surely there's two or three we want a hook in for when they get canned.
