    I'm sure there is.

With the current uncertainty Players will have to look at their options.

The only thing we can hope for is for as many of them as possible to hold off until the very last minute before signing for somebody else.

    According to the article:
The Waratahs have made frequent overtures to Adam Coleman but look like missing the former Tah. Force lock and former Sydney Uni lock Matt Philip is another the Tahs are keen on.

Would that be the same matt Phillip who was so hard cased by the tahs recruiters that he came to us as injury cover for Ben matwijow?

I can understand a franchise playing on the other side of the country taking a while to pick him up, but he was right in the centre of the tahs Pathway and didn't get enough love for him not to jump at the force offer.

If the 5th team didn't exist, where would he be now?

I can't fathom why noone else was interested in Phillip.

He has been better than all the Tahs locks and Rebels locks.

Nope, keep stringing the tahs along, nibbling at the bait until the 11th hour and then sign with the force, essentially forcing them to waste another couple of years on Skelton, or recalling Dennis.

Agreed Markos! Could the ARU be fast-tracking the Rebels ones to make a point?! Note too that the message about the signing was on the ARU's own website. Plus the ARU posted the following very effusive Twitter post:

A huge signing for the @MelbourneRebels!
    https://t.co/AI5CAKXWNO

The Force absolutely need to be banging the ARU's door down with contracts for them to sign off on. Maybe RugbyWA need to be more aggressive in getting on the front foot? Time for the gloves to come off imo.

Did anyone else hear Richard Hardwick say "when I was playing for the Force" yesterday. Check out the Wallabies FB page. The past tense disease is spreading, first Coleman and now Hardwick.

Yep. I noticed that too. Think was wrapped up in his new Wallaby world though when he said it. He's a wee bit like a kiddie in a sweet shop at the moment I think!

While it's understandable for contracts that will/might include a Wallaby top up to take some time, surely any Force contracts that won't have one should be agreed straight away! And I wouldn't put it past the ARU to, say, offer a Force player a higher Wallaby top up if he moved to, well, the Waratahs!

Regardless of the politics Hutchinson is a bloody good player and it is great news that he will be continuing his rise through rugby. One to watch for 2019 if he can live up to and within his promise.

Hutchinson is old news. The media leaked his signing several months ago.

Reading too much into what Hardwick said. He was playing for the Force. Now he is playing for the Wallabies. He will play at least two more games for the Force. Don't let the negativity of this situation take over.

It sounds to me like if he's playing super rugby in 2018, I won't be watching.
