Glad Dane and Ross have stayed together, just wish it was with us. Sad that Taf has had to head overseas, but that is the shit that is Aus rugby, he is a quality player and individual - some os club will benefit greatly from having him.

So WA, the home and source of many a Wallaby has lost the chance to develop more players for greatness, over and above so many of the other states ... the squad is now spread over the other franchises, with the HPs taking up two more spots on the Revels roster.

That's two less places for developing Vic players that have their own dreams of reaching the pinnacle of professional rugby, along with the other franchises losing some of their fringe players that are forcing their way through the NRC and into contention for a full contract.

Regardless of the state or territory, I do care about rugby development, grass roots rugby nationally is spiraling and whilst 2019 might be a reasonable RWC for Chieka ... 2023 will see group stage exit at this rate.

Yep, we've said many times, it is laughable to claim cutting five sides to four will help local development.

I think that this is something that has been completely overlooked by the EARU; they have not only screwed over the dreams of almost all WA up-and-comers but that of all players all over the country. We really were stronger as five 😢
