Surely he wouldn't commit to signing less than a week out from the decision being made if he wasn't positive he wouldn't be staying.... it would not make sense.

Great to have the big fella commit to the Force and at 25 years old, he is definitely player we could build a team around going forward. Just need this arbitration nonsense to go away now so we can get OTF up and going, a bit of Twiggy magic thrown in and the ARU leaving us the hell alone so we can finish building Australias richest and most successful Super Rugby club heading into the future.

THE Western Force have made a play to sign Wests Tigers outside back Kevin Naiqama.

The Force want to add the 28-year-old to their roster next year despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding their place in the competition. Naiqama has also attracted interest from the Super League, as it grows increasingly unlikely that he will remain at the Tigers beyond this year.

He's listed at only 90 kg, so is he another speedster to replace Morahan and battle Peni, Newsome and Two-dads for the wing spots?

Toigs list him as 93kg. Very fast, very strong, regularly breaks the line. Bit of a surprise to me. Aus born Fijian, with no Rugby background unless at school. From Arncliffe Scots - regular NRL breeding ground in Saints area. Downsides - makes a few too many bad defensive reads, worst hair do in the NRL.

When I talked to him after the last game he sounded like he was totally committed, I reckon it wasn't him holding up the process.

And the club that doesn't get axed wins the "loyalty" of Genia! Can the FUARU make a club take a player? I'm sure that not only do we not need him I don't think the majority of fans would want him either.
