The Baysies-Paly games were moved earlier to accommodate the Force game - not sure if that was done across the board.

The rescheduling comes from RugbyWA as far as I am aware. Can't see the switch to sunday happening in club land though

Sounds simple but in practice much more difficult.

Clubs need to have all grades played on the same day, club's would be hard pressed to have officials, staff, crew, volunteers turn up both Sat & Sun.

Not forgetting the players, coaches, team support staff, partners, parents that also block out Sat's. How many would be able to do the same for Sundays.

Then there's the refs, RWA officials & staff and support people that would normally count Sunday's as their day off.

All grades were moved 30min forward this round.

Additionally, all Premier grade games must be played on Sat to ensure encoding services can be completed by midday Sunday.

I left straight after the 1st grade final whistle at Bennet Park and by the time I drove there and parked the car at East Perth train station, walked to NIB and sculled a beer the teams were running out.

Something needs to change to accommodate clubbies who want to be involved in both.

Sunday club rugby needs to be put back on the table.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Unfortunate set of circumstances; early Saturday game promoted as family friendly but the people that have no chance of getting to the game are the dedicated club volunteers who are hosting that day and need to stay at their clubs to clean up, run the bar and other duties.
