They also talked about losing the funding for a new high performance Rugby centre not built. We already have one and have spent the money.
And how much more money will Cox have lost by then? Will Cox be the Rebels financial backer still in 2025? At current pace he is on track to have lost another $18 million by then. And how much would have the ARU put into Melbourne? Another $10-15 million in bailouts?
At current pace the ARU is on track to lose more money then they would make from the HOA with the Victorian government.

I also like the irony of the ARU gloating about us breaching an agreement but then has no intention of honouring their agreement with RugbyWA.

Reasonable to question the integrity of somebody who is questioning your integrity Zim. Unfortunately, Clarke is right in the middle of this mess, and omeara is on the outside, only bidding for shares. The firepower thing was an example of the force doing only what was required to keep the club going in the wake of zero support from the ARU. They only broke a 'gentleman's agreement' which everybody else was breaking, but they did it more systematically, more effectively and with greater scale. They were fined when the agreement which nobody was following became a rule which only the force followed, this occurred after firepower went bust and the deal fell to pieces. I'm Pretty sure ground hire fees was after this.

I guess im looking at it with Sea Blue glasses on, but still feel it was a low blow considering the OMeara question was more about the impartiality of the process rather than Clarkes integrity.

I don't have a problem with omearas integrity, more importantly, omerara has nothing to do with the decision making process.

Business directors are required to declare conflicts of interest, I assume that doesn't apply to coo.

Firepower sponsored more than just the Western Force.

Pretty sure that there was some AFL Sponsorship and some V8 Supercars as well.
