Why are you changing the subject to US political leaders, Gerry?

That's just what I heard. It may have been a throw away comment when the refs met the players before the game. Or he may not have seen them before, and made some comment to ensue everything was covered. Or he may have been concerned that they had been cleared to play by their home unions.

    i love it

The rumours I heard tonight were few and far between.

Nedlands have recruited a new gun 13 (or so they hope) to revive their hopes, and fortuitously a player they recruited pre season has returned to their fold after bolting back to New Zealand for a while.

Kalahard will be pleased to know that Auenga Seumenatafu will be making his first grade debut for Palmyra, and there will be a few other changes in Pally's starting lineup. Onehunga Havilli will be unavailable to Pally, God knows why, probably to warm the bench for the Force.

Pally's five new Irish recruits finally arrived, just before Easter. The two centres are bloody quick, although the lock and number 8 look like they've been in a good paddock for a while. I don't know how the prop went, as he arrived late for training. Under club protocol they will be starting in second grade against Perth.

Palmyra had a junior game against a combined NSW schoolboys combination at 6pm, and NSW defeated our under 13's seven tries to three. Not a bad result for our boys, who have only just started training together. The highlight for me was to see the shock and awe on the faces of the NSW kids When Curtis Rona joined them during the after game meal, chatting with the lads and letting them take selfies with him. Their team manager said that this was amazing for his boys, and that he had never seen anyone from the Waratahs do anything similar. Hats off to you Curtis.

The only other thing I heard was that Kala coach Heke will be pulling on his boots this weekend.

Anyone who has any other goss, please feel free to post.

Partially fixed shasta, I always had the impression that NSWRU only tolerated tafs support for a club that wasn't randwick.

Probably glad to see the back of him.

Why haven't Wests filed their team sheet with RugbyWA by 5pm today?

As Westieman wished on other clubs, fine them out of existence!

    Westie, I demand an explanation!!

What have you got to hide!

By the way, I haven't received your resume yet. Still interested?

Would it help if I offered $5000 cash under the table as well as the TV?

Okay from what I've heard Wests do have a fair bit to hide so why make it easy for sad old souls who sit at home on Friday nights who have nothing better to do than check other clubs team sheets.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Nothing sad about sitting home watching the Tahs get their arses handed to them on a plate.

Anyway, Westie, that's my only job for the club.

Every week I get a copy of each club's team sheet for each grade and enter the names, grades and dates into the data base of a computer program I've developed.

I, and some volunteers on my team then do random weekly checks of the videos for each game to see if the players on the field match the names on the team sheets. If anomalies are noted they are recorded, and thereafter that club's team sheets are cross referenced to the videos on a weekly basis.

It is an almost foolproof, evidence based system to detect cheating on eligibility.

We call it the Wests And Cottesloe Systematic Cheating Detection System©®.

Essentially we are doing RugbyWA's job for them.
