This is a shizer time not just for rugby but sport in general in the West.

The loss of the Force is incomprehensible for the sport and those who love the heavenly game.

BUT in our fight to save our boys in blue, we must remember this is more then a sporting team.

Our group has been lucky to work with RWA for the past 8 years.

During that time, we have witness a monumental growth of the local game.

That took hard work, passion and commitment by those under the WF/RWA banner.

We can say with certainty, that the administrators we have worked with at RWA are the best in WA.

We have work with Football, Swimming, League, Basketball, Waterpolo, Hockey, Volleyball and Soccer. While all those sports have great ppl working for them, the team we have worked with at RWA have been streets ahead.

Juniors, womens, sevens, regional & country - it's been massive and well beyond what other sports have only been able to dream of.

And while 95% of our rugby work has been with community rugby, the achievements in the local game, albeit with such great endeavour, would not have been achieved without a super rugby franchise in Perth.

These people are now looking at a very uncertain future. They are rugby people. They will be hurting.

But most of all, they can likely see that their blood sweat and tears may have all been for nothing.

Ppl may lose their jobs. And with that they may lose much more.

We may likely have to let crew go as our continued work with RWA may likely be a casualty if the Force are axed.

This isn't just ppls jobs, it's their lives. Player, coaches, trainers, team managers - yes they'll lose their jobs, but they'll find new ones in the wider rugby world.

It's those who have devoted their careers and lives to rugby in WA that will be the most affected.

So, don't fight for a team, don't fight for the players - fight for the people, behind the scenes, who have fought to build the game in the state.

They are the Western Force. They are Rugby. And they deserve better.
