I'm not currently in a position to buy my share in the Force at the moment, I'm planning to but it's going to have to wait a month or so. having said that, I'm sure that all this legal action won't come cheap, so is there any way we can contribute to that?

Thanks General for your and the boards actions.

It seemed to me that this is not about the development of players, or the fans both of which are drivers for future revenue growth.

So I take from your comments that the own the Force campaign was not even taken into account as a financial factor?

Ditto. Thanks for both the fight and the update General, it has been a bitch putting up with the speculation with bugger all facts about what is actually happening - appreciate your disclosures to people passionately supporting our team.

To think that the club actively developing local rugby and top tier players from the local crop would be dropped, in favour of one who has failed to do this, simply because of a $4.7M break fee is outrageous- how incredibly short-sighted from the group who are supposed to be protecting the code at the national level. To me this seems to make an incredible lie out of the ARU's platitudes about developing grass roots rugby - what a load of crap.

Pleas maintain the rage and fight this thing out to the absolute end, win or lose.

We've had to endure weeks of the ARU leaking "top secret" stuff to Georgina and co. It's so good to have a whistle blower in our court giving the real perspective. Thank you General.

Just rehash some old news re the alliance agreement.

    https://www.westernforce.com.au/arti...ance-agreement

Pulver added: “From an Australian Rugby point of view, it’s not only essential that we continue to support RugbyWA and the Western Force but to ensure the game remains strong at the community level in Western Australia and that the Super Rugby team is given the best opportunity to succeed.

“It is our absolute priority at all times to act with the best interests of Australian Rugby as a whole and to protect the long term health and prosperity of the game in Australia.

It'll be interesting to see just how this is reported in the tabloids and broadsheets. Objective/factual reporting a la Wayne Smith or agenda spinning stuff in support of our beloved heartland.

Still think Brumbies should be prime candidate; both Force & Rebels represent states but ACT is a hashed together territory has a Prem division of 7 clubs.
How did they satisfy all the supposed criteria for stability and sustainability after so much turmoil about corruption & financial ruin. All was made safe a lot quicker than other decisions ...

“Fan passion should be financially measurable,” W. Pulver.
Therein lies the problem at the heart of this. The CEO - and looks like most of the ESRU board - can't see the bleeding obvious when it's right in front of them. I'd have thought the $5-$8 million that fans in WA have volunteered to put up is pretty "financially measurable". Especially when compared that the slow train wreck that is unfolding in Victorian Rugby. Despite all the help they have been given, they can't gain traction with the public or media, can't produce players and have an owner who is willing to walk for a chunk of the folding stuff. The smart decision would be to quit while they are behind instead of chasing financial maybes. Looks like they are nowhere near as smart as they should be to hold their jobs.
