Read 8700 somewhere. But was told by multiple people buying extra tickets that the area we sit, southern stand, was sold out and they has to buy in other blocks, yet it wasn't even a quarter full.

An attendance of 8,474 was reported. A disappointing number, given that it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, that most of WA would have been aware of the sword hanging over the Force's head and that (in effect) a call had been made to show support for the Force.

There were 11,466 at the Brumbies vs Reds match at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.
There were 35,000 at the Stormers vs Chiefs match at Newlands yesterday.

9,000 is grim- it didn't look that bad on the telly.

But it is no surprise with the Kings. Just like with the Cheetahs, there are very few fans of these teams in WA. Our best crowds are from against the Kiwi teams. Then NSW/QLD. Then a mix of ACT/Rebels and couple of the RSA teams. Then the RSA teams that noone cares about (Cheetahs, Kings)

Now this is interesting- Own The Force claimed to have 4,700 odd people registering to buy a $1,000 share (i.e. $4.7 million). Is it a coincidence that Andrew Cox wants $4.7 million?
