It's been report in the UK that the two SA teams now playing in the Pro14 (Pro12) will be reinforced with the addition of 10 (5 for each team) Springboks to be supplied by the 4 remaining Super Rugby teams. So the Saffas are strengthening the teams playing in the Northern Hemisphere at the expense of the Super Rugby teams. This probably shows where the Saffas think their future lies.

Certainly gives the impression that Super Rugby as we know it will be only short-lived and the ARU should have been working on an alternative rather than cutting teams.

I would call that rubbish. SA to provide the Cheetahs and Kings with 10 springboks! Absolute dream by whoever said that....

My initial call is bullshit, but if I'm wrong that will be an indication that Super Rugby is a dead concept and the Saffers will look to pull out in 2020.

I am pretty sure that if Hansie, General or anyone for that matter knew the answer about when the results will be known, we would have known by now too.

There is no time frame and anything else you hear until the "official" release is given will just be another guesstimate.

No mention of the Rebels even being in the firing line any more on kick and chase seriously there is no thought in this at all anymore no pretence either all eggs in the win for ARU at arbitration!! Just depressing.. that letter and conversation with Clyne problably more impact on a brick wall 😡
