    For Friday's match:

Ref: Rohan Hoffman (well known Force hater)
AR1: Federico Anselmi (the ref from last week)
AR2: Graham Cooper (WA based, but tries so hard not to be biased that he's often biased against us!)
    TMO: Damian Mitchelmore

Actually, it's the same crew that officiated against the Reds, but with Hoffman and Anselmi switching roles.

I don't understand the Fardy "tactic". Are they saving him for a better opponent?

Well if he's not injured I can only assume he being "rested" so the Brumbies may think they have a good chance in this game. Bit early in the season for resting players unless he is carrying a niggle they won't admit.

Coleman gone for 5 weeks will be a pain the proverbial for the Force.

That's pretty good news with Lance being fit for this week and Coleman only missing 4 games.
Hopefuly Hodgo and McCalman should be back after the bye as well.

Hopefully we're putting in extra time on our lineout and maul defense, as they look like the areas we'll be most vulnerable.

I think that Hodgo might be a case of not rushing him back at 90% because we don't need to.

If so, that would be the first time in the history of the club wouldn't it?

The Wallabies - Still the only team to score tries and win away from home in both, yes both its World Cup victories!

I vote - and I want a proper rectangular stadium in Perth!

Soon's I saw ice on the calf I thought some of the estimates were optimistic. They are hard to get over and rushing blokes back is very high risk.

So Coleman not back until round 9? almost half the regular season? I'm glad he wasn't badly injured then

Can only surmise that the Brumbies best not making the match day squad is a piss take. Bernie obviously doesn't rate us. In particular our backrow. Going to be a tough ask away from home to back up the heroics of last week given our recent form against the Brumbies. If we win this one I may start to believe we can do something this year.

Ref: Rohan Hoffman (well known Force hater) #1 Australian ref
AR1: Federico Anselmi (the ref from last week) More experience for the new guy
AR2: Graham Cooper (WA based, but tries so hard not to be biased that he's often biased against us!) How tf do you conclude that? It is not possible for me to disagree more

I'd have said Angus Gardner was the #1 Australian ref, although Hoffman has been reffing longer. But The Hoff's remarks (heard via SportsEars last week) were constantly negative about the Force, to the point that Anselmi got miffed at him

Anselmi - great for him to have more experience.

Cooper - maybe I'm doing an injustice to the guy, but I recall an NRC game at MacGillivray a couple of years ago where in the first half he was definitely only looking one way and the players and officials had to have a word with him to make sure he reffed both teams equally

    Fair call.

One game. A couple of years ago. May I recommend you watch a more recent match?

If the weather is clear I think that this Canberra game will give the Force the opportunity to show the world their new found ball handling skills, as well as our speed out wide. We will run around them, make their backs look slow. Chance Peni will score a double. Rona will score as well.

Billy Meakes will make Kyle Godwin look like a silly school boy.

The Brumbies selection committee have chosen to disrespect us by picking a weak pack and we will repay them.

Brumbies havent been able to finish off a game this year, we have.

I believe that the Force will win this one - and win it good.

    I have faith........

Hoffman is a muppet. Consistently negative towards the Force. Didn't he play for that rugby powerhouse Portugal once? Obviously gone to his head...
